Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi announced today she will name Professor of Pediatrics at Boston University Dr. Deborah Frank, and Founder and CEO of Share Our Strength Bill Shore to the National Commission on Hunger.
“Food insecurity has no place in the wealthiest nation on Earth,” said Leader Pelosi. “That any child in America faces gnawing hunger is an outrage; a moral scandal that cries out for action. As the National Commission on Hunger develops its report, Dr. Deborah Frank and Bill Shore will bring experience, dedication and urgency to this critical challenge. It is my privilege to name these two anti-hunger leaders to the Commission.”
