Congressional Briefing on SNAP and Child Health: Pediatric Experience on the Frontlines

Children’s HealthWatch and the American Academy of Pediatrics co-hosted a Congressional Briefing on Capitol Hill featuring a panel of pediatricians, including Dr. Diana Cutts and Dr. Eddie Ochoa, Jr. from Children’s HealthWatch and Dr. Lanre Falusi from AAP. During the briefing, the panel shared their clinical experience with policy decisions made on Capitol Hill and shared research to help inform Congressional offices on the benefits of SNAP—especially timely as Congress considers changes to SNAP.
