The objective of this article was to provide a pediatric research-based opinion on the negative effect of cuts to the Supplemental Assistance Nutrition Program (SNAP). Children’s HealthWatch researchers explained the proven health benefits of SNAP participation and the demonstrated inadequacy of current funding levels in response to upcoming and proposed cuts to the program.
