Kelly A. Courts, MPH
Kelly Courts is the Site Manager for Children’s HealthWatch’s Philadelphia Data Collection Site, located at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children. As Director of Hunger-free Initiatives at St. Chris, she collaborates with multi-disciplinary outpatient and inpatient teams, as well as area community organizations and health systems, to improve processes for screening and addressing social needs in the clinical setting. She is passionate about data-driven decision making and focused on exploring patient-centered impacts of the current push for health systems to address social factors. Prior to joining St. Chris, Ms. Courts developed and managed programs to address food insecurity at Philabundance, the region’s Feeding America affiliated food bank. She has served as an appointed member of the Philadelphia Food Policy Advisory Council since 2017 and co-chairs the Food & Health subcommittee. Ms. Courts received her BS in Biology from Bucknell University and her MPH from the University of Pennsylvania.
