According to the 2022 National Survey of Children’s Health, one in six children in the U.S. experienced housing instability. Among families with young children interviewed by Children’s HealthWatch at Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock, AR, housing instability peaked in 2023 at 31%.
