A Message From Children’s HealthWatch on COVID-19 and Our Upcoming Events

During this time of national crisis, Children’s HealthWatch remains committed to ensuring all families have the resources they need to thrive. We recognize that the dramatic changes due public health concerns about the rapid transmission of COVID-19 and impending economic downturn will have a disproportionate impact on families of young children, families with low incomes, and communities of color. As we have done for the past 22 years, we will continue to respond to the realities facing children and their families most affected by economic shocks.

The health of communities and individuals is extremely important to us and as such we have decided to make adjustments to the following upcoming event:

  • We canceled the event, High-quality early education and care: Essential for healthy children and thriving families co-hosted with the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston and originally scheduled for Tuesday, March 31st. This event will be rescheduled for a later date to be announced.

We hope that you can join us for our upcoming Immigration and Equity webinar on Tuesday, April 14th:

  • An Immigration and Equity webinar is scheduled for Tuesday, April 14th 12pm-1:15pm EST. Dr. Jackie Vimo from the National Immigration Law Center will provide an overview of recent, harmful immigration policies and proposals, how they impact children, and what we can do about it.
