According to the 2022 National Survey of Children’s Health, one in six children in the U.S. experienced housing instability. Among families with young children interviewed by Children’s HealthWatch at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, PA, housing instability peaked in 2021 at 21%.
