National Anti-Hunger Policy Conference

Several Children’s HealthWatch staff members attended the 2025 National Anti-Hunger Policy Conference, hosted by FRAC. Director of Systems Implementation Strategies, Richard Sheward, presented on a panel titled Food is Medicine: Lessons Learned, Best Practices, and Opportunities for Policy and Implementation, and the team attended panels related to food insecurity, health, and advocacy. The conference culminated in a Hill Day where Children’s HealthWatch was able to present research on child and family health to Congressional offices across the country.
