Written Testimony to the Massachusetts Joint Committee on Children, Families, and Persons with Disabilities in Support of the Evaluation of Governmental Services on Children and Families
On July 23rd, Children’s HealthWatch submitted written testimony before the Massachusetts Joint Committee on Children, Families, and Persons with Disabilities in support of the Senate Bill 135 and House Bill 185, “An Act requiring the evaluation of governmental services on children and families of the Commonwealth.” Having a role in the healthcare of the Commonwealth’s children presents a greater understanding of the vital role public policies and programs play for the health of children, particularly the youngest. Passing this bill will enable agencies to better coordinate, plan, and improve the health of children and families in Massachusetts.
During the hearing, Dr. Megan Sandel testified before the committee in support of H.185/S.135.
