Social Studies: Event rooted in support of Grow Clinic

As Thanksgiving gets closer by the minute, feasting is on our minds. Last night, Boston Medical Center had 300 guests thinking about food, nutrition and the importance of their Grow Clinic’s work at their annual Food for Thought event.

The crowd at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel got a warm welcome from Gov.-elect Charlie Baker, who addressed the partygoers during cocktail hour.

Founded in 1984 by Dr. Deborah Frank, The Grow Clinic treats Failure to Thrive children and aggressively targets malnutrition via advocacy, education and world-class treatment. The night honored Frank and her work.
