Children’s HealthWatch, Boston University’s Initiative on Cities, and End Poverty in California (EPIC) hosted a special film screening of Poverty & Power, followed by a panel discussion, Q&A, and a reception. Directed by Emmy award-winning filmmaker Jacob Kornbluth, Poverty & Power is the story of what happens when you bring people with lived experience — their voices, ideas, and aspirations — to the halls of power. Panelists spoke about their unique perspectives and the work they do to combat poverty across the nation:
