Mariana Chilton is the Former Principal Investigator for Children’s HealthWatch’s Philadelphia Data Collection Site at Drexel University School of Public Health. Her research interests include poverty, nutrition, hunger, and maternal and child health.

Dr. Chilton is currently the Principal Investigator of the Philadelphia GROW Project and is the founder of the Witnesses to Hunger project. She is also an Assistant Professor of Public Health at Drexel University.

Dr. Chilton received her A.B. at Harvard University, her MPH in Epidemiology at the University of Oklahoma, and her PhD from the University of Pennsylvania.
