Working Families: Solutions for Paying the Bills
Through the What If Project, Children’s HealthWatch is providing real and specific models of better policy futures, working toward our vision of a future where all children’s basic needs are met, sustaining their health and enabling them to reach their potential. Utilizing economic simulation models, Children’s HealthWatch found that raising the Massachusetts EITC to 50 percent from its current level of 23 percent of the federal credit will help families pay for basic living expenses and afford a stable home in many cities and towns across the Commonwealth.
