Evidence-Based Practices Online Briefing
Health Affairs
Thursday, April 23, 2020
2:00 PM – 3:30 PM ET
The April 2020 issue of Health Affairs examines the integration of social services and health. There is growing attention in the health sector to understanding and addressing the social factors that play a role in people’s health. Yet, most programs designed to meet social needs are completely separate from those designed to meet health care needs. These studies in this month’s issue are particularly relevant at a time when the coronavirus is highlighting the need for an integrated response.
In normal times, the release of a Health Affairs issue of this significance would be accompanied by a large, in-person event in Washington, DC, but the current public health emergency makes that impossible. This month instead, in a series of three online events, we will highlight key papers and authors, followed by a live “Question and Answer” session with the viewing audience.
Please join us for these important and timely discussions, all hosted by Health Affairs Editor-in-Chief Alan Weil. Questions will be accepted at each session.
