Research on Healthy Eating for Young Children

Allison Bovell, Children’s HealthWatch Site Coordinator, spoke about food insecurity and CACFP on a panel at the Bessie Tartt Wilson Initiative for Children’s “Symposium on Nutrition for Young Children in Massachusetts” in Boston, MA.

“Research on food insecurity, obesity, and the nutrition of young children in early education settings can help us better understand the scope of the issues and help advocate for change. Learn about research conducted by universities and health centers throughout the state and how it changes the way we think about the health of young children.”

The panel also included Rachel Blaine from the Harvard School of Public Health and Emily Broad Leib from the Harvard Food Policy Clinic, and was facilitated by John Lippitt from the University of Massachusetts.
