Children’s HealthWatch, headquartered at Boston Medical Center, will present at Hunger to Health Collaboratory’s Mobilizing Healthcare For a Hunger Free Massachusetts event.
This is a statewide convening of the Massachusetts health care community that will examine the economic impact of food insecurity on health care and to exhibit the best practices, tools and opportunities to mediate those costs. The Hunger to Health Collaboratory (H2HC) will host and facilitate a results-driven cross-sector conversation with leading experts across Massachusetts on Whole-Person Care, Community of Practice and Innovation. Our primary objectives: to create policy and financing solutions that facilitate/promote innovations (screening and referrals to reduce food insecurity and its health consequences) and dissemination of these activities until everyone in Massachusetts who interacts with the health care system is no longer food insecure.
