Bush’s “Poor Kids First” Kept Sick and Freezing

Dan Brown, wrote an article for the Huffington Post about how important the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) is for families with young children. He referenced an op-ed that Dr. Deborah Frank, Children’s HealthWatch Principal Investigator had written about the health effects of unheated homes and Children’s HealthWatch’s research which showed that LIHEAP has a protective effect on health.
