Children’s HealthWatch, headquartered at Boston Medical Center is pleased to announce it will be taking the lead on the FindYourFunds website with support from the Shah Family Foundation.

The FindYourFunds website, www.findyourfunds,org, was created in 2021 to provide Massachusetts families with critical information and resources on expanded tax credits. The website, available in nine languages, has information on tax preparation locations, tax credits that are available in the Commonwealth,  links to free online tax filing, and information specifically for immigrants. Amplified by annual outreach partnerships with community-based organizations and state agencies like the Department of Transitional Assistance, these efforts have connected over 500,000 residents with critical resources, returning over $12 million directly to Massachusetts families. This impact was so significant that FindYourFunds was recognized by the White House as a model program for ensuring eligible residents receive tax relief.

FindYourFunds.org ensures every Massachusetts resident can access the support available to them,” shared Jill Shah, President of the Shah Family Foundation. This effort reflects the Foundation’s commitment to incubating innovative models at the intersection of education, healthcare, and community, working alongside dedicated partners to meet real, urgent needs.

The Healthy Families Tax Credits Coalition, led by Children’s HealthWatch, has been working with the Shah Family Foundation and Greater Boston Legal Services, Boston Tax Health Coalition, MASSCAP, and Massachusetts Law Reform Institute to update the website and amplify its resources annually.

Now under the management of Children’s HealthWatch, the FindYourFunds website will continue to be a trusted, central platform to connect families with tax benefits. This mission is particularly paramount following significant expansions of the state’s Earned Income Tax Credit and Child and Family Tax Credit this legislative session.

“Massachusetts’ family tax credits are bigger now than ever before but they mean nothing if families cannot access them,” said Stephanie Ettinger de Cuba, PhD, MPH, Executive Director of Children’s HealthWatch. “The FindYourFunds website is an important tool to help families learn how to access all of the credits they are entitled to as easily and quickly as possible, in turn supporting their budgets and well-being.”
